Lifestyle Villages for the "Not so Retiring"
Now is the time when you can really enjoy life. You have time to pursue your hobbies, get involved in new activities, stroll down a promenade, be refreshed with a quiet beach-walk or find a secluded picnic spot for lunch. You can choose to do as much or as little as you like knowing that you are secure, surrounded by warmth and companionship – with the reassurance of knowing that staff are available 24/7 if you require emergency assistance.
RSL LifeCare villages are happy, friendly places with a genuine sense of community – a real heart, where your friends and family are always welcome.

Lifestyle Villages – Frequently Asked Questions
What Services are available?Residents treat the delightful facilities of each of our Villages as an extension of their own personal living space. They enjoy the convenience of a variety of facilities as detailed in the sections describing each village.
Will life be better at an RSL LifeCare Village? It is widely recognised that Village residents enjoy many benefits that are not available in their own family home, e.g. emergency call, staff available for assistance, maintenance assistance, grounds maintenance, recreation activities, village buses and transport, LifeCare @ Home, and most importantly a great social time with other Villages. You have a variety of facilities and activities that are easy to access and shared by like-minded people. Companionship thrives in these pleasant situations. Because you have your own private home, you can have as much privacy as you desire and continue to welcome the company of family and friends in your home.
What is the best time of life to make such a move? That is for each person to decide, but we regularly receive feedback from new residents saying that they wished they had moved in years earlier.
What facilities and activities are available?
Lots! All our villages have a range of facilities – e.g. RSL ANZAC Village has a bowling green and a pub, Rowland Village has a pool and a golf course, The Lakes of Cherrybrook has a tennis court and an indoor pool, Cherrybrook Gardens boasts a large lounge and functions room, Ex-Services Ballina has great access to the river and fishing and billiards.
