VolunteersRSL LifeCare welcomes and values the services of Community Volunteers. Volunteers play a vital role in enhancing a resident’s quality of life and are a vital link in the care chain at RSL, working hand in hand with the staff to provide quality care. It brings companionship and friendship and these are the things that maintain a sense of ‘life’ – to be able to give to someone else and to be needed. We always attempt to match the needs of both residents and volunteers as both sets of needs are important if we are to have a successful program. Volunteers provide the following services:
Training is provided for all volunteers and volunteers are supported in their role. If you think you would like to be part of our wonderful volunteer team, please give Bev Ash, Manager Therapy & Lifestyle Centre. We would be delighted to hear from you!
